Master Your Money Through Practical Learning

Our income budgeting program runs from September 2025 and focuses on real skills you'll actually use. We're not teaching theory from textbooks—this is about building confidence with your finances through hands-on practice and genuine support.

What You'll Actually Learn

Six core modules that build on each other. Each one gives you tools you can start using straight away—no complicated formulas or confusing jargon.

1

Income Mapping

Track where your money comes from and when. We'll show you how to handle irregular income, side gigs, and seasonal work without the stress.

2

Expense Patterns

Most people underestimate what they spend. You'll learn to spot patterns, find leaks, and make decisions that stick without feeling restricted.

3

Priority Systems

Bills, savings, wants—everything needs a place. We'll help you create a hierarchy that matches your life, not someone else's ideal.

4

Buffer Building

Emergency funds aren't optional anymore. Learn realistic strategies for building breathing room, even on a tight budget.

5

Adjustment Tools

Life changes constantly. Your budget should flex with it. We'll teach you how to adapt when things don't go according to plan.

6

Long-term Planning

Think beyond next month. Set meaningful goals and create a roadmap that feels achievable rather than overwhelming.

How The Program Works

Twelve weeks of structured learning with plenty of flexibility. You'll attend weekly sessions, complete practical exercises, and get feedback on your progress.

Small group discussion analyzing personal budget spreadsheets with instructor guidance

Weekly Sessions

Two-hour workshops every Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM. We keep groups small—maximum fifteen people—so everyone gets attention. Sessions combine short teaching blocks with lots of hands-on work. Bring your laptop and your real numbers.

Practice Assignments

Between sessions, you'll work on your own budget using templates we provide. These aren't busy work—they're building your actual financial system. Most people spend three to four hours per week on assignments, but you can adjust based on complexity.

One-on-One Reviews

You'll get three private consultations with your instructor throughout the program. These thirty-minute sessions let you dig into specific challenges or questions that don't fit group discussions. Book them whenever you need them most.

Resource Library

Access to our collection of spreadsheet templates, calculator tools, and reference guides. Everything's downloadable and yours to keep. We also maintain an FAQ database built from questions past participants asked.

Who's Teaching This

Both instructors have spent years helping people with their finances. They understand that budgeting isn't one-size-fits-all.

Lead Financial Educator

Lachlan worked in banking for twelve years before switching to education. He specializes in helping people with variable incomes—freelancers, contractors, and anyone whose pay changes month to month. His approach is practical rather than prescriptive.

Instructor Bryn Aldridge portrait

Bryn Aldridge

Budget Strategy Specialist

Bryn comes from a financial counseling background and has helped hundreds of people rebuild after setbacks. He's particularly good at creating systems that work when you're starting from behind. His methods focus on progress over perfection.
